We started in 1965 as structural and civil engineers and have grown to include architects, building envelope experts, forensics engineers, transportation planners, and parking consultants—all to better serve our clients with cost-effective and innovative solutions.

In the design phase, Walker provides building envelope design, peer reviews, and quality control checks for all types of structures. For existing structures, Walker can support you as you maintain it. We provide assessments and investigations for all building types to assist owners in maintaining good conditions, and critical reviews and advanced analysis in the case of failures. Sustainability
Sustainability has long been at the heart of our work. Whether it’s designing a new structure to last for generations, restoring an old one to extend its life, or crafting plans that get people where they need to go in a more efficient manner, reducing waste is essential.
Sustainability goes beyond the final product, however. It must be considered in everything we do and everyone we work with, because we all have pivotal roles to play in enabling society to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change and foster sustainable development.
With an understanding of the need for transparent and integrated sustainablity reporting, we launched a Sustainability Team in 2021 led by a group of champions who are dedicated to the creation of a Sustainability Report.
Our scorecards track progress in the reduction of waste in each of our office locations that include the use of electronic communications instead of paper media, recycling programs, advanced technologies that replace travel demand, employee involvement within their communities, and corporate stewardship.
