The redevelopment of Downtown Silver Spring, including a new large movie cinema complex, created the need for the Wayne Avenue Parking Structure. A companion parking structure one block away, Town Square Garage, serves other cinema and retail tenants, some of which are in the lower levels of this parking facility.
