Salem Hospital Valet Parking Study

Salem Hospital commissioned Walker Parking Consultants to perform an assessment of their options during and after construction of a new Patient Care Tower on the current site of their existing Visitor Garage.  The assessment included recommendations for valet and shuttle services, a TDM (Transportation Demand Management) Study, an RFP to select a qualified valet operator and provider of shuttle services, and guidance in implementing a parking access system.

Salem Hospital has benefited from improved parking services to their visitors and staff with the implementation of the recommended valet/shuttle parking program.  A recent survey indicated that over 72% of arriving visitors and patients use the valet service and 21% use the shuttle service.
