Matt is a Principal for both the Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo offices, and he is the National Technical Director for Forensics, Restoration & Building Envelope. His responsibilities include project management, condition assessments, cost estimating, report writing, restoration design and production of construction documents. He is also responsible for construction administration and construction field monitoring for building, plaza, parking structure and general restoration projects.

Matt’s engineering experience includes projects involving many of the widely used types of construction in use today. Building projects include façade investigation and repair work of brick masonry, stone, panel brick, precast concrete and terra cotta buildings. Matt project managed and engineered a series of repair projects in 2002-2012 for the Maccabees Building in Detroit, Michigan. Matt also played a central role on the team that restored the Book Building and Tower during 2015-2019.
