Rashid Ahmed is a Regional Structural Engineer and is responsible for overseeing structural engineering for that office as well as for our offices in Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, Minneapolis, MN, and Tampa, FL.

Rashid joined Walker Parking Consultants in 1993 as a Project Engineer and in 2000 he was promoted to Regional Structural Engineer. Rashid is responsible for the structural analysis and design of parking structures using computer models, restoration design, and the coordination of engineering and drafting personnel, construction administration, as well as peer review for post-tensioned and pre-cast concrete parking structures.

He currently serves on two committees with the Pre-cast/Pre-stressed Concrete Institute: Connection Details, and Seismic Committee.
