Don Monahan has 27 years of parking consulting experience and specialized expertise with regard to mechanical parking structures, functional design, signage, lighting, safety, security, waterproofing, parking equipment, fire protection, and building code issues.

 

Don is a co-author of the book, Parking Structures:  Planning, Design, Construction, Maintenance and Repair, Third Edition, by Kluwer Academic Publishers, and is the principal author of the Guide to the Design & Operation of Automated Parking Facilities, April 2003.  As a member of the International Conference of Building Officials, Don has authored several sections of the International Building Code 2003 related to parking structure design.
